Today we went on the bonneville shorline trail, it was pritty fun we went up then halfway Galen broke off and went to the murdock canal trail.  On the way back we went like super fast for some reason, we went like 5:20 pace from the beginning of the trail down to the school it was crazy.  Then after that we went and did weight training it wasnt super hard today but we will still probally be sore.  After that we decided we didnt get enough miles so we started on golf course than went to Mountain Ridge Jr high to go check out Galens plack.  Then we went and ice bathed in the river on the way back.  After track class my brother wanted me to come run some sprints with him to try out his new spikes.

Today we went and did some of those good old 4x600m hill workouts.  I felt okay today we did it where we cant stop at the end and we have to keep on running.  I came arount like 2:05 on most of them, the last one a little faster.  Afterwards i went to this pasta place and meet some of my boys from the water striders, they were drinking soda like usual.

Today we did this thing with the soccer people because coach told us to.  It wasnt that bad we did like 5 miles in 31 min I kinda joind in a little late. We were going fast like a 6 min pace.  Than we went down art die to the stop sign zach and lill' warner were going pritty fast on the way back.  Afterwards me Jamison JR and Galen went and did strides.  Than we did weight training and I found out I can only do 5 trysep pushups at a time. Then tonight I ran a little extra because I missed the beginning of practice.

Today we did a tempo run down in AF.  3x5min with a 5 mins of rest in between.  I felt slower today I don't know why probably because of weight training.  Jamison JR didn't run today because his back got injured.  On the warm up Josh tore a hole in his brand new shoes.

Today we did a modest run it was pritty ok, afterwards we did weight training and we did some weird punching exersize.  Afterwards we took some chocolate milk down to the river and put it in it. Than went a little extra, than came back and ice bathed.  On the way back we drank our chocolate milkes.  Than after practice me and the Jamison FR went and rode my 50 and 70 motercycles up in lamburt than I ran out of gas.            Click this to check out cool photo from riding with Jamison FR today-><-

today we did hogs backwards, with me big Josh little Josh and Lill' Warner it was pritty fun, i think that I like it better than the regular hogs.  We went up backwards and insted of going around the mountain we went over it.  There was a awesome veiw from the top,  when we were going down we were flying.  Like a 5:30 pace I liked it.  Then when we were about back we smelled daylight dounuts.  And Lill' Warner invited us to go to his house and eat some breakfast buritos,  so we did and we got some chocolate milk.  When I got back to my house I found out that my dad actually bought me some daylight dounuts and they were good.

Today we went on the mountain run for a little than we went through alpine and Jamison got poked in the eye.  After that we went to Cole Greys house and visited him, he didn't know me Craik and josh so it was kinda weird than we just went back to the school.

Today we did 3x300 meter tempo it was suppost to be really easy but I felt terrible. It was mainly my stomach and kinda my lungs, and my throat. I didn't run yesterday because I felt like I needed to take a day off. Hopefully I will feel better by tommarow.

today we ran at the Utah distance challenge. It was really fun, and everyone did really good and PRed except Galen and Steven. I was feeling pritty bad at the beginning of the week, I was even having second thoughts on going to this meet. But I was feeling better when we started. At the start I was lined up in the back line which was probably not good because I got second in my heat. But I didn't think that I was going to do really good. The first lap I was feeling good, than on the second lap I was in like 8th. Than the next lap I got back into like 10th and my lungs were starting to hurt. Throughout the whole race for some reason I was just passing people on the corners going on the outside which probably wasn't smart, I could have gotten a faster time.  But on the last like 100 m I started kicking, I had a good kick I thought because I passed like 9 people than barley got second which I was exited about. Than after my race we went and did a cool down, than when we came back I found out Craik got into the sub five club to which is awesome. Than we did another cooldown with some Westlake people.

today I felt pritty terrible, I haven't ran in like 5 days because I have been sick.  Last week I had a cold than on valentines day I got the flu. I had that for a few days and I'm still a little sick. Today we went on the mountain run at the start my knees were killing me for some reason than it got better, I wasn't feeling that bad till we got halfway than my stomach started hurting. Than on the way back it was pritty hard to go fast. When we got back we did weight training but I sat it out because I wasn't feeling good.

Today we were supposed to do 4 one thousand meter repeats at mile pace, every one on the team did all of them except me Galen and Craik, Galen was sick so he didn't do any.  Craik did like two than had to go to a scout camp out so he left. And I did one just to see if I was ready to do all because I was sick at the beginning of this week. Than I just ran by my self and did the cool down with little warner, Galen, and Jamison.

 Today was awesome, at the beginning of the run we were going up to bonneville because we thought we were going to do that. But insted we decided that we would go to where spencer saw the mountain lions. When we were about there we decided to go on this other trail. Jamison's lungs were bothering him, and Galen was just feeling sick. So it was just me Craik and Zach Ericksen.  So we ended up going on that trail till we hit the road and than went on a little bit of mountain run.  After that we went down healey, than went on this trail. that ended up on Alpine highway, we were going like 5.28 minute pace acording to craiks watch when were were coming down that. and than like 5.50 all the way back to the school. When we got back we did weight training.

today we did 6x600m hill reapeats. The first few I was just trying to stay with Galen, we did ok like 2:04 and 2:02.  Than the next few were slower like 2:06 than 2:10.  Which was the slowest, than after those two Galen stopped because he was still a little sick,  than on the  last one I got like a 2:06 again, but I was hurting. So coach had us stop exept for Jamison JR, Lill' Warner, and Zach.  After that we did a cool down we went by galens house so we got a ton of rocks and put a big XC on his driveway. Than went a few times around the school.  When I got home I did a little more.

Today we did a 45 minute tempo pritty much.  It was suppost to be a 5 min warm up than a 45 min at 10k pace, but we decided that was to hard.  So we did a 45 minute at like a 5:58 pace, it was pritty hard but not that bad.  I probaly will be sore, but that just means I am getting stronger.  I felt good today, stayed up with little warner the whole time, jamison was right behind us.

Today was just an easy run, we ran up to this cool rock formation that looked fun.  When we got up there there was this awesome  pool of water that looked fun to jump in, we threw rocks in it.  Than we went to this cave that Galen told us about.  It was awesome it went back like 30 ft and there was a pad and a tent at the back.  Than we went back to the school where we did weight training. The weight training was long because we did ladders afterwards which sucked, i was probally the slowest on those. But I got some new shoes yesterday so I was exited about that
